Atlanta Victim Assistance Program Needs Volunteers

RSS XML FeedBackground Active Sep 1, 2006 to Oct 1, 2006

The Atlanta Victim Assistance Program is a non-profit 501(C)3 organization dedicated to helping crime victims and witnesses deal with their unique situations. Through a highly-qualified full-time and volunteer staff, we serve the vital needs of both victims and witnesses. AVA advocates specialize in the following areas of crime: Homicide, Child Abuse, Domestic Violence, General Law Enforcement and Human Trafficking.

The program needs volunteers to answer phones, refer victims to various organizations, help support groups, and perform other office work.

These volunteer opportunities are ongoing.
