Greater Gallatin United Way

Give an hour. Give a Saturday. Give your best

We all have special talents and when we reach out a hand to one, we influence the condition of all. Whether it's reading to children, working on park trails, teaching financial literacy classes to hard working families, or delivering meals to homebound seniors, there are hundreds of volunteer opportunities available every day.

Give the gift of YOU. Volunteer.

Intermountain Opera Bozeman
In May and October of every year Intermountain Opera Bozeman (IOB) produces a fully staged opera. Professional singers are hired from around the world to fill the lead roles. These guest artists share their experience and talent not only with the local artists and volunteers working on the opera, but with local youth and general public through outreach events in the schools and community workshops. Volunteers help our success. Please review the many volunteer opportunities available with Intermountain Opera.

Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Big Couple Or Big Family
There are currently 23 Little Brothers and 13 Little Sisters waiting to be matched. We need volunteers to match with these Littles. It is a one-on-one mentoring program between an adult (Big) and child (Little). You and your Little, on your own schedules, share activities you both enjoy, everyday activities that are low or no cost. Ideas include bike riding, sledding, playing board games, baking cookies, walking/hiking or going to a local ball game. To build a solid friendship, you and your little meet consistently once a week for a couple of hours and commit to the program for at least 18 months. We encourage you to become a BIG!
