Description:
Evanston Community Foundation builds endowments for current and future opportunities; fosters private philanthropy; focuses the impact of collective giving; finds solutions to community challenges; allocates grants; and provides leadership training.
History:
Evanston Community Foundation was founded in 1986. In the last nearly 25 years, we've distributed over $2 million in grants, build endowments of over $13 million to serve Evanston forever, trained over 500 facilitative community leaders, provided numerous training events for nonprofits, and been engaged in a wide variety of efforts to improve the community.
