Animal Care Volunteers learn about professional, state of the art animal care as is provided in Association of Zoo and Aquariums accredited throughout the US. ECHO is home to over 55 species of animals, including fish, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. Our volunteers commit to high quality animal care that is needed daily. This includes feeding and maintenance of the animals and their enclosures.

Persons applying should not be afraid to get their hands wet or dirty! This is an active job that is very task and detail oriented. Volunteers should be in good physical health and be able to lift 20-40 pounds. Experience with animals and/or aquariums preferred.
