Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Be a part of a team dedicated to improving the reading skills of Baird School students. Assist the school to find the grade level for books in each classroom in order to assure that students are choosing books that are "just right" for them and therefore more likely to improve their reading fluency and overall reading skills. Also, the volunteer would look up titles of books on a data base of books and label the book at the correct level. The book will then be returned to the classroom library.

Ability to access and electronic database of books and label appropriately, all while sitting in a pleasant classroom while the students are gone for summer vacation. No physical activity is required!
