Friends of Burlington Gardens is looking for community-minded board members with professional experience in finance, law, community development, or food systems. FBG is dedicated to community, school, and neighborhood gardening in the city of Burlington and across Vermont. Our mission is to create, enhance, and preserve community-based gardens through advocacy, education, and community outreach. |
| Day, Time, & Place of Board Meetings:: |

Meetings are generally held at 6 p.m. Wednesday evenings once a month and include a light dinner. |
| Minimum Position Requirements (e.g. serve on sub-committee, attend events): |
|
Attend at least 75% of board meetings. Work with other board members and Executive Director to further the organization's mission and goals. Board members play an active role in fund-raising and organizational development and are encouraged to attend fund-raising and program-related special events. |
