Essex CHIPS is a non-profit community coalition serving Essex, Essex Junction and Westford, with a mission of "inspiring youth to make healthy choices through youth-adult partnerships and community involvement".

Description:
CHIPS employs a unique and comprehensive community-wide approach to healthy youth development. We encourage community members to become involved with our coalition by contacting us, or by joining the our monthly coalition meetings, which are held on the first Thursday of every month from 5:30-7:30pm at the Essex Teen Center. Volunteer opportunities at CHIPS exist within many of our programs including:

Middle School After School Program -- Work with youth during our after school drop-in hours as they play pool, do arts and crafts, play video games, use the computer, and hang out. Trusting, caring, and responsible individuals needed ANY day, Tuesday-Thursday, 3:00-5:30p.m. No experience necessary. Sign-up for one-day a week/month/year!

4th &5th Grade After School Program -- Work with youth during our after school drop-in hours as they play pool, do arts and crafts, play video games, use the computer, and hang out. Trusting, caring, and responsible individuals needed Monday, 3:00-5:30p.m. No experience necessary. Sign-up for one-day a week/month/year!

Board Sub-Committees: Interested community members can get involved with our organizations Board by volunteering on sub-committees including Programs, Operations, and Resource Development.
