Rokeby Museum is a National Historic Landmark that connects visitors with the human experience of the Underground Railroad and with the lives of the Robinsons, who lived on and farmed this land for nearly 200 years.

Today, Rokeby Museum is a 90-acre National Historic Landmark, one of the best-documented and most significant Underground Railroad sites in the country. From 1793 to 1961, it was home to the Robinsons, a remarkable family of Quaker farmers, abolitionists, writers, and artists. The house is fully furnished with 200 years of family belongings, and the surrounding farmstead includes eight historic outbuildings. Acres of hiking trails are also available year round. The Museum is open from mid-May to mid-October, with guided tours of the house four days a week. We host one special event a month and have special programs for children and families. We also serve 600 to 800 Vermont school children each year.
