Weekly Spotlight: College Goal Sunday!

Parents and their college-bound children will have an opportunity to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid of FAFSA at the statewide College Bowl Sunday on Feb. 12, 2012. Locally, College Bowl Sunday will be held from 2-4 p.m. at both Boyne City High School and Harbor Springs High School. Financial aid experts who can help families complete the complex applications and maximize financial assistance for students wanting to go to college will be at the two College Bowl Sunday locations. Volunteers are needed to assist as greeters, man booths, and help in a variety of other ways.

There are no requirements for volunteers other than an excitement to help young people obtain their goal to continue their education! Volunteers will be asked to be at the respective schools (Boyne City or Harbor Springs) by 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 12.
