Troop Leader/Assistant Leader Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore Imagine yourself... being a role model for a girl. helping a girl become proficient in "financial literacy". teaching a girl how to stay safe in today's world. sharing your skill(s) or talent(s) with a group of girls. working with other adults to strengthen the Girl Scout organization. lending your expertise to a Girl Scout committee. and many other volunteer roles!   Fill out a Volunteer Service Application (Writable) Submit three reference forms (provided by us - writable) Submit a criminal background check Interview by phone or in person by a Girl Scout staff member or volunteer to determine areas of interest, training needs, etc. Appointment to position Brief orientation to Girl Scouting, available online, home study, or in CD format Adult learning/training in person or through online and self-directed courses. Once placed in a volunteer assignment, volunteers are provided with continuing support from several sources. Annual Registration is required   Click here to volunteer for this opportunity
