Project Connect Volunteers

Human Services Coordinating Body C/O Char-Em United Way

Project Connect is February 3 from 10am-5:30pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Petoskey. Project Connect, sponsored by the Charlevoix-Emmet Human Services Coordinating Body, aims to connect people in need with a range of health and human services needed to improve their lives.

During the day attendants can get a hair cut, sign up for community resources, eat a hot meal, and take home a bag of food and personal care and household items. All services are provided for free.

With 800 people expected to attend Project Connect, volunteer assistance is needed prior to and during the event to ensure a successful event. Volunteers can help set up displays, schedule haircuts, serve a hot meal, and make sure guests are getting the services they need. To see available opportunities click here.
