Weekly Spotlight: Stuff The Bus

Stuff the Bus volunteers, August 14 Char-Em United Way Every student needs pencils, notebooks, crayons, and glue sticks to start the school year. On Saturday, August 14 come help Char-Em United Way Stuff the Bus with needed school supplies for underprivileged children in the Charlevoix and Emmet Counties school district. School buses will be parked in the K-Mart plazas in Charlevoix and Petoskey and there will be a live radio broadcast promoting the event. We're looking for volunteers to staff each location. You'll pass out shopping lists and let shoppers know how they can help foster children's education. You'll also help sort items on the bus as they are collected.   This is a great opportunity for families! We need help with set-up from 9:30-10 AM and throughout the day. There are 2 hour shifts available from 10 AM-12 PM; 11 AM- 1 PM; 12- 2 PM; 1- 3 PM Click here for more information or to volunteer for this opportunity.
