Weekly Spotlight: Manna Food Project

Food Assistance Program Outreach Manna Food Project Please help us spread much-needed awareness of the Food Assistance Program (FAP)! Manna has partnered with the Food Bank Council of Michigan to reach out to those who may need Food Assistance. Volunteers will visit area agencies such as pantries, friendship centers, health clinics and more to assist individuals in applying for Bridge Cards (Food Stamps). Experience the feeling of knowing you helped a Northern Michigan family have the power to put food on their table this month by using their Bridge Card to shop for their own groceries! Brief training will be provided by Ashley Keller, Manna's FAP Outreach Intern, who has coordinated this outreach program throughout the summer. Reliable vehicle is required and mileage will be reimbursed. Background check is also required. Click here for more information or to volunteer for this opportunity.
