Weekly Spotlight: Join The Stuff The Bus Committee!

Stuff the Bus is an annual event that Char-Em United Way has sponsored since 2008. At the end of the summer we collect school supplies for students to start back to school successfully. We have school buses parked at the K-Mart plazas in Charlevoix and Petoskey as well as drop-off boxes at local businesses. Volunteers hand out shopping lists and encourage shoppers to donate supplies for the Char-Em Intermediate School District (ISD).

We are forming a committee made up of volunteers to help with the event- teachers, students, and retirees are great for this position. The committee will help with organizing and staffing the event, making calls, dropping off and picking up boxes, and other tasks.
