Good With Numbers?

Retired Senior Volunteer Program

AARP Tax Volunteers interact with senior clients by filling out tax returns at the Petoskey Friendship Center. Even if you don't have accounting or tax preparation experience, becoming a Tax Volunteer may be right for you. Tax forms, including home heating credit and homestead tax credit, are perplexing for older adults, and your assistance is so appreciated! Only the most basic of returns are considered for completion, so extensive tax accounting training is not required. Computer skills are important, as all returns are filed electronically.

Three-day training session in Traverse City (January) required.
