This organization is appropriate for youth with adult supervision. This is a good place to volunteer as a family or for a youth to experience community service. Depending on the policy of the organization the minimum age for volunteers will vary.
Wellness Center for uninsured patients, their families and their community seeks weekly administrative/workshop assistant volunteers to help implement and support programs, including:
• The healing arts (acupuncture, massage therapy, reflexology)
• Movement (yoga, Qi gong, dance, walking)
• Nutrition Education (cooking classes, gardening)

On Thursday, May 30, an event for all ages: "Bag It for a Beverage!" Join our train track clean-up from Broening Highway to the Hard Yacht Cafe. The 2013 Cool Kids Campaign Running Festival will be held on Sunday, June 2nd at Goucher College in Towson, MD. The 5k and 10k races begin at 8am. The 1 mile fun run and walk begins at 8:20am.

Stenciling stormdrains is a great way to remind people that rain water washes the streets, sending a lot of pollution and litter into the Bay. With slogans that say "only rain down the drain" or "trash on the street pollutes what we eat" or simply "Don't Trash our Dundalk" the stencil squad will draw attention to the importance of keeping litter off the streets (for starters).

We need you to adopt an outflow drain near you. Monitor this drain and test the water that flows from it. We want to know if anything is in the water so we can find any sources of pollution that may be present. If you can commit to checking your drain once a month, then I want to talk to you!

Sarah’s Hope depends on volunteers to bring in home-cooked dinners and fresh lunches for its residents. Meal donors can choose to either drop off the meal in advance or stay to serve it to shelter residents if there is availability. We typically serve 30 adults and 45 children at dinner, and for lunches we usually have 20 adults and 20 children.
