Youth Drop-In Center Mentors Needed Westside community center has volunteer opportunities in their YouthDrop-InCenter on Monday and Thursday nights from 6 – 8 p.m.The Center is open to kids ages 10 – 17 for games, food and mentorship.All volunteers are required to be at least 22 years old, have an informal interview, read and agree to their code of conduct and confidentiality agreement and submit to a federal background check. The Cleveland Marathon is a 3-day event that depends upon dedicated volunteers to make the event a success.Volunteer opportunities begin Friday, May 14 through Sunday, May 16 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.Volunteers are needed for the Expo on Friday and Saturday for t-shirt distribution and packet pick-up stations, and on Sunday - race day- for water stops, finish line food, medal distribution and gear check.Volunteers of all ages and physical abilities are welcome.
Westside food pantry needs volunteers to deliver groceries from their warehouse to its clients once a month.Because volunteers interact directly with clients, the nonprofit asks that those interested in this position be able to volunteer a few hours a month on an ongoing basis.
