Excellent opportunity to promote the independence of an elder in your community by assisting with the routine tasks of money management. Make home visits in the Boston area with a time commitment of approximately 1-4 hours/month. Money Managers make a crucial difference by helping seniors avoid eviction, financial exploitation, and unnecessary institutionalization.

Skills- Basic financial management skills and the ability and desire to relate to an elderly or disabled individual. One-time training and some paperwork required, including a CORI Background Check.

From 93 North & South
Take Exit 18 (Mass. Ave./Roxbury). Take a right at the first set of lights (you will drive past Boston City Hospital/Boston Medical Center on your right). Continue on Melnea Cass Blvd. and take a left on Tremont St. (at Ruggles Center). Continue straight through 7 sets of lights (passing Roxbury Community College on your left at 4th light). After 7th light, take your first right onto Amory St. just past Muffler Mart-- a small, light blue building. Follow Amory St. approximately 1 mile until you come to the Green Street T station on your right. We are diagonally across the street from the T station-- brick building with a large parking lot. We are the second door down on the street level.
From Brookline
Take the Jamaica Way into Jamaica Plain. Take a left onto Pond
Street then a right onto Centre Street. Take 4th left off Centre Street onto Seaverns Ave. (Purple Cactus). Follow Seaverns Ave. Until it ends. Green St. T station is on the left at corner. Take a right onto Amory St. We are diagonally across the street from the T station-- brick building with a large parking lot beside it. We are the second door down on the street level.
