Description:
We offer programs for girl ages 6-18. Programs are divided into age-appropriate groups and provide girls the opportunity to take risks, build their skills in science, math and technology, ask questions, make new friends and prepare for their future. Six categories form the foundation of our programs: Careers and Life Planning, Health and Sexuality, Leadership and Community Action, Culture and Heritage, Self Reliance and Life Skills, sports and Adventure. History:
Girls Incorporated of Lynn has been operating programs for girls since 1942. We are a local affiliate of the national organization, Girls Incorporated, formerly Girls Club of America. Volunteers are needed to help with homework, teach a skill or workshop, work with girls in our computer lab, mentor a girl and assist with administrative and fund raising tasks.
