Jewish Family Service of Metrowest exists to strengthen lives and build community. JFS is a non-profit agency providing social and community services throughout the life cycle for people of all ages, faiths, and backgrounds, fostered by traditional Jewish values of social responsibility and concern for all members of the community.

History:
Jewish Family Service of Metrowest (JFS) was founded in 1979 as an information and referral service for elders. It was supported by the local Jewish community and staffed entirely by volunteers. Over 30 years later,we have expanded to become a comprehensive multi-service agency, responding to the evolving needs of Jewish and non-Jewish individuals and families in the Metrowest community. Our roots are anchored in professional social work, citizen participation, volunteerism, and a commitment to finding solutions to the daily challenges faced by our clients and their families.
JFS/MW clients reach across all ethnic, religious, economic, and generational lines. Our services are provided on a non-sectarian and no clients are denied services for economic reasons.
