Career Collaborative
| Last updated on April 1, 2013 |
Our mission is to end working-class poverty by helping adults get and succeed at life-changing jobs, making Massachusetts and its families stronger.
Description:
Career Collaborative envisions a world in which all adults are able to support themselves and their children. We give our clients the exact assistance they need to attain this vision. We offer a 4 week job readiness workshop to adults ages 22-55. Throughout the workshop we help clients understand the employers point of view so they become successful at their job and can grow into a career. Clients get one on one help with their resume, cover letter, target job, and job search. They also go through 20 practice interviews with local professionals who volunteer their time on Friday mornings.
History:
Since its founding in 1997, Career Collaborative has helped 1,600 families in the Boston area move toward economic self-sufficiency.
