After participating in an informative two-day course, you will be ready to observe and then lead school groups on Maple Sugaring walks.  The training will feature nature history information covering seasonal change, tree identification and local ecology, as well as teaching tips and techniques.

Training days are:

Tuesday, February 6, 2007 (9:30 am to 12:30pm)

*Maple Sugaring History * Basic Tree Identification * Winter Natural History Topics

Thursday, February 8, 2007 (9:30 am to 12:30 pm)

*Maple Sugaring Process (from the tree to pancakes) * More Field Trip Activities * Designing Your Program
