Baltimore County Volunteers (BCV) is the volunteer center for Baltimore County. We are a clearinghouse for nonprofit organizations and local agencies in need of volunteers. Our mission is to connect individuals who want to volunteer with volunteer opportunities in the community.

Description:
By utilizing community and government resources Baltimore County Volunteers is able to help nonprofit organizations and local agencies recruit and retain volunteers. Through our office individuals are matched with volunteer opportunities throughout Baltimore County.

BCV is home to Citizen Corps, Home Team and RSVP. Through our partnerships we are able to offer volunteers opportunities such as emergency preparedness outreach/training, food distribution to the hungry, mentoring the youth of our community, help senior citizens remain independent, and much more.

History:
Baltimore County Volunteers was established in 2003 through the Governor's Office of Service and Volunteerism. BCV is sponsored by the Baltimore County Department of Aging. We currently track over 2,000 volunteers who donate over 300,000 hours each year helping their community through various non-profit organizations and local agencies.
