Vision= To be the "way" in which volunteers, resources and agencies are “united” to enhance the quality of life in our community.
Description:
Our agencies acts as a "cog" in the community to identify what needs are not being met and attempt to work with the community to locate an organization to met those needs. If an organization does not exists; our agency continues to work with the community to build up a group of community leaders to create an entity to tackle the unmet need. Our agencies continues to assist the new agency to succeed in our community. Examples: the 2-1-1 Call Center, Smart Start Oklahoma, Turning Point
History:
Ada Regional United Way has been in existence since 1947. The name has changed throughout his time to reflect the changes in direction to the communities needs.

Overall Experience
Leave with a great feeling of being a part of the community.

I have had the opportunity to volunteer with Matthew 25 Mission. What a great way to truly see faces that are affected by our volunteerism! So many hugs and tears of thanks to all who help with this activity. It would be difficult to leave the volunteer opportunity without knowing that you have made a difference. I found the experience to be excellent!
