Volunteer at the National Conference on Volunteering and Service

Volunteers are needed at the National Conference on Volunteering and Community Service, to be held this year at the Washington Convention Center from August 3rd through the 6th. Volunteers get to attend the conference free on the day of their volunteer service.  Many excellent workshops are being presented.  A variety of volunteer opportunities exist -- greeting conference attendees, assisting with registration and helping to distribute materials.

The National Conference on Volunteering and Service is an annual conference hosted by the Points of Light Foundation.  The conference provides an opportunity to inspire and fortify leaders who mobilize people to serve.  To sign up for a volunteer time, visit the Alexandria Volunteer Bureau website.  For more information contact Jeanette Thomas at the Points of Light Foundation at
