For the sixth year, the Arlington Chamber of Commerce's Community Action Committee will be bringing together Arlington non-profits and businesses for a day of hands-on volunteering on Saturday, May 7. Volunteers are still needed to participate in service projects at local nonprofits. Businesses and other interested organizations are encouraged to form teams; individuals are welcome too. All will be matched with non-profits needing help with special 1-time projects. If you are able to volunteer, please email chamber@arlingtonchamber.org or call Cate Murray at the Chamber at 703-525-2400. Breakfast Kick-off: 8 am Saturday, May 7 at George Mason University's Arlington Campus (Law School Building). In addition to the Chamber of Commerce, sponsors of this event include George Mason University, E*TRADE BANK, Hyatt Hotels of Arlington, Silver Diner, and Curves of Arlington . |
