ESL Small Group Teachers

The Literacy Council of Northern Virginia needs volunteers to teach in our ESL Learning Centers classrooms. Please teach a small group of adults in one of several different locations. Class size is typically 5-15 students. Each two-hour class is held twice a week in the evening. Days and times vary at each location. Volunteer must attend teacher training.

No previous teaching experience is required. Foreign language experience is also unnecessary. Training is required. Our next training session will be taught in two parts. Part One will be Wednesday, January 19th from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m., and Part Two will be Saturday, January 22nd from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
