We are looking for volunteers(retirees/students) to teach and share your interests with our patients for a one time visit, more if you wish. It could be talking about a vacation or trip, with pictures and slides. It might be to share a hobby and your expertise, or teaching a new activity/skill. This opportunity is ideal also for students who need to meet community service requirements for their high school or those with a special project. Generally we are looking for PE , music, art and/or dance students. We will have a short application and minimum paper work in order for you to begin. The most time will be scheduling a time that is convenient for you and our hospital .
