The Arlington Police, Fire and Sheriff's Departments are proud to be hosting the 5th Annual Arlington 9-11 Memorial 5K Race on September 9, 2006. This year is very special as it's the 5th Anniversary of the attacks. Annually this race attracts participants from all over the United States and has proven to be very healing and satisfying for all involved. We expect over 3,000 participants this year and any help you can provide is appreciated. Volunteers are needed to assist with: Post Race organization of runner wrist bands; Post Race clean up; and Other duties determined by race coordinators. The More the Merrier!! Volunteers should be able to be outside in warm temperatures, since event takes place outside.
