Barnes & Noble at Market Common (Clarendon) is hosting the first annual Streetside Storytime on Saturday, June 24th. This is a community literacy event featuring community members reading kids' books every half hour from 11 til 4 pm. Readers include Mariela Aguilar (Radio Latina), Joe Witte (WJLA News), Sen. Patsy Ticer, and TRC's own Eileeh Hanning. Book purchased at Barnes & Noble using a special TRC voucher will generate a donation to The Reading Connection by Barnes & Noble. |
