Smithsonian Seeking Folklife Festival Volunteers

A special invitation is extended to volunteers to be a part of the 40th Annual Smithsonian Folklife Festival. It will be held outdoors on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., Friday, June 30 through Tuesday, July 4 and Friday, July 7 through Tuesday, July 11, 2006. Produced by the Smithsonian Institution's Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage, the Festival is a living exhibition of traditional culture featuring outstanding musicians, muralists, craftspeople, storytellers, cooks, and occupational specialists.
