Overnight Shelter Coverage Volunteer

Doorways seeks volunteers for the overnight shift (11pm-7am) at our domestic violence Safehouse and our family homeless shelter. Overnight shelter volunteers answer the hotline/helpline and respond to the needs of shelter residents. Volunteers are asked to cover one overnight shift per month. 

Doorways for Women and Families creates pathways out of homelessness and domestic violence by providing safe shelter, housing, life-changing support services and community advocacy. 

Interested volunteers must attend an information session, 32 hours classroom training and participate in a background check.
