Investment Advisor To The Friends Of The Arlington Public Library

 The Friends of Arlington Public Library has been growing it's endowment for the last several years and would like some investment advice concerning how to keep it increasing. They are looking for someone with experience working with non-profit organizations to review their portfolio and advise them on how best to manage it. Their questions include the following: what types of financial investments are best, what levels of return can be expected, what are appropriate investment strategies for non-profits, and what financial policies should be put in place. 

The volunteer can work where it is convention for them, but quarterly attendance at the Friends board meeting held at Central Library on the third Monday evening of the month is required to update the members on the status of their investments. 

The Friends of the Arlington Public Library is a membership organization whose purpose is to encourage and assist the Arlington County Public Library in providing the highest quality library services. 

The successful applicant has extensive experience managing the investments of a non-profit organization.
