Resume Creation Volunteers For Refugees

RSS XML FeedBackground Active Jun 12, 2006 to Jun 21, 2006

Help refugees create resumes that will enable them to apply for jobs. Meet with clients once a week in our office for about an hour to interview them about work and educational experience and help them create a resume. Be part of a rotating schedule of volunteers or pick one day a week to work with clients in our office. Many of our refugee and asylee clients have extensive job experience, and need someone to help them present it well. Anyone with a knowledge of constructing resumes can volunteer! Whether you're an expert at resume creation or you just have your own resume and think you could make one for someone else we'd love to have you volunteer. Volunteers must attend initial orientation and brief training from an experienced resume volunteer.
