Artisphere will be the first and only U.S. venue to present Frida Kahlo: Her Photos, an exhibition of photographs—previously in storage and sealed until 2007—revealing private moments of this extraordinary figure's private life. Frida Kahlo: Her Photos will be on view at Artisphere from Feb 23-March 25. This exhibition presents 259 replicated images from Frida Kahlo's personal collection of over 6,000 photographs.
Gallery Docents will receive training on the exhibition prior to its opening in one or two sessions. Docents will partner with a part-time Arts Ambassador to staff the gallery desk in order to answer questions about the exhibition and engage with the public. Gallery Docents may also be asked to help out with any opening/VIP receptions. Primary responsibilities include engaging the public and answering questions, as well as maintaining any informational material provided at the desk for incoming patrons (restocking and making photocopies). Evening and/or weekend availability needed. Shifts last a minimum of 4 hours. This opportunity is sponsored by: Artisphere
