CareRing is a free telephone support program offered by CrisisLink.
CareRing counselors make daily calls to people who live alone, or who are elderly, disabled, or chronically ill. These contacts help people maintain their independence and stay connected to the community by checking in on their well being, reminding them of appointments, medication and other concerns.
CareRing counselors also provide support to our Hotline Crisis Counselors on shift.
We are specifically in need of CareRing Counselors on weekday mornings to make calls 7:45 AM-11:15 AM. We require a commitment of 150 hours of shift coverage, which can be filled in approximately 1 year if filling 1 shift per week, or sooner if filling additional shifts.
