Summer is upon us and it's a great time to get involved! There are plenty of opportunities to choose from, whether you want to spend time outdoors cleaning up a local park or inside leading games at a retirement community.

• CVN Receives Innovative Program Award - The Arlington Community Volunteer Network received an award for its innovative utilization of volunteers to serve the local government and community.
• Adopt-A-Street - Individuals or groups may "adopt" a specific section of road pledging to keep the street, curb, and storm drain free of trash and debris.
• Book Sorter / Pricer for Library Book Sale - Friends of the Library is seeking help for their fund-raising programs, the semi-annual sales and the Friends of the Library bookstore.
• Summer Invasive Plant Control - Choose from a wealth of opportunities to assist with Invasive Plant Control this summer.
