RSS XML FeedBackground Active Sep 28, 2009 to Dec 17, 2009

Greetings from Volunteer Arlington!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering.  Enthusiasm for service is ramping up across the nation as the Summer of Service ends and a lifetime of service begins.  This Fall you will see your favorite celebrities sharing stories of service, and continued support from President Obama's United We Serve campaign.

There are many ways that you can get involved this Fall…

Take a look at our NEW and UPDATED volunteer opportunities, donation needs, and volunteer board opportunities currently listed at the Online Volunteer Connection.  With over 400 opportunities, you are sure to find a good fit for your interests, skills, and availability!

In addition, the Volunteer Now!  Fall 2009 publication, a listing of recent volunteer needs in Arlington, is now online with links directly to the opportunity descriptions.  Feel free to share it with your friends and neighbors, social networks or print it out and hang it up at your local coffee shop!
