Volunteers are needed to help "decanstruct" the fantastic structures & sculptures made entirely from cans that the Northern Virginia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) builds each spring at Ballson Common Mall. This week-long exhibit by the AIA is part of a community service project by design and construction industry firms in Northern Virginia. All the canned food from the exhibit will be donated to the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC). That's when volunteers are needed -- to take apart, crate up, and load the donations at Ballston Mall.
This opportunity is open to individuals and groups. Children must be at least 14 years old and accompanied by an adult or guardian.
This opportunity is sponsored by: Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC)
