Improving Schools for Black Students

The Office of Minority Achievement needs 2 - 4 assistants to help with set-up, registration, and other registration table duties on Thursday, January 19th at Thomas Jefferson Middle School for a program called "Improving Schools for Black Students". Dr. Kunjufu, educator, author, and nationally renowned speaker, will lead a discussion with APS staff members and parents on ways to eliminate the under-achievement of African-American students and preparing youth for success. There are two presentations - Staff from 4:00 - 5:30, Parents at 7:00 - 8:30. We would like 2 volunteers for each time frame. APS Volunteer Application
