Each year all children in Arlington Public Schools receive a large envelope of information that their parents need to fill out so that the schools have up to date information about their students. We work with immigrant parents to help them fill out these forms as many of them speak little or no English (the forms are hard enough if you speak the language!). This event will take place on September 6, 2005 at various community centers in Arlington from 6pm-9pm. We ask that volunteers look over a sample pack of the forms so that they can clear up any confusion before assisting families. Speaking another language is not required but it is helpful. This opportunity is sponsored by: Community Outreach Program, Arlington County DHS We need volunteers who are free at these times | | One-Time | | |
