Funds Available to Agencies for Hurricane Response

The Arlington Community Foundation announces the availability of grants to charitable organizations assisting Hurricane Katrina evacuees who have arrived in Arlington.

The purpose of the Foundation's Prompt Response Fund is to help non-profit groups in Arlington respond quickly to unanticipated opportunities or unexpected, urgent community needs.   Applications may be downloaded from the Foundation's website at http://www.arlcf.org/grants.html.   Completed applications may be hand-delivered, faxed or e-mailed to the Foundation.   Applicants will be notified about the status of their proposals within a week.
