Volunteer Opportunity - Domestic Violence Safehouse Volunteer

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Doorways for Women and Families creates pathways out of domestic violence and homelessness leading to safe and stable lives.

We need caring, empathetic, open-minded individuals to support women in imminent danger as they take steps towards safety and self-suffiency. As a Safehouse shelter volunteer you will answer our 24-hour Domestic Violence Hotline, assist in the day to day operations of the shelter and support women and families in need. If you are interested in learning more about domestic violence and can volunteer 8 - 12 hours a month contact us!

Shelter volunteers must complete 32 hours of in-class training and pass background checks.
