Volunteer Opportunity - Front Desk Volunteers

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Do you have a few hours a day to volunteer? Do you have one, two or more days a week to volunteer? If so, the Child & Family Network Centers in Alexandria, VA has a wonderful opportunity for you to help out at our front desk. Responsibilities include answering the telephone, working in Excel and filing.

Volunteers must have a working knowledge of Excel. Bilingual English-Spanish volunteer are very much needed, but Spanish language proficiency is not a requirement. Our hours are 9:00am- 5:00pm, Monday - Friday, so volunteers must be available during the weekdays.

Directions:

CFNC's main administrative office is located next to the Birchmere Dinner Theatre in the Arlandria area of Alexandria on Mount Vernon Avenue. From Rt. 1 - Follow Rt. 1(toward Washington, DC) to Glebe Rd., take a right. Follow Glebe to Mount Vernon Avenue and take a right. Go 1/4 of a mile and turn right into the Birchmere parking lot (next to the Auto Zone). Follow the parking area around to the Birchmere front entrance. CFNC's site is attached to the Birchmere on the left. The sites in Arlington needing volunteers are: 1718 S. Taylor Street and 4108 4th Street N   Nearest Metro/Subway Stop: Braddock Road (main site) or Ballston (Arlington site)   Nearest Bus Stop: NA, NA minute walk
