Organization - RPJ Housing Development Corporation

Founded in 1978 by the National Capital Presbytery, RPJ Housing is an Arlington-based non-profit 501(c)(3) that provides a range of housing services to those in need, with an emphasis on serving persons with disabilities.

Description:
RPJ Housing is a non-profit developer of affordable housing. As of 2012, we have developed more than 2450 units of affordable housing in the Washington DC area, including multi-family properties, group homes, and single-family properties.

At present, we provide homes to almost 300 persons and families, including five group homes. A sixth group home is under development and will serve military veterans at risk of homelessness due to disabilities.

RPJ Housing is committed to fair housing and welcomes the opportunity to be of service to all persons.

History:
Founded in 1978 by the Rev. Robert Pierre Johnson, RPJ Housing today continues its mission of providing affordable housing, with an emphasis on serving those with disabilities. At present, we operate properties in Fairfax, Arlington, and Warren counties, and have been recognized for excellence in property management.
