Description:
The Residential Program Center homeless shelter collaborates with Arlington County officials and numerous organizations in Northern Virginia to ensure that effective and appropriate services are available. Residential Program Center is the only year-round homeless shelter for men and women in Arlington that offers detoxification and substance abuse recovery under one roof.

History:
The Residential Program Center homeless shelter has been operated by Volunteers of America Chesapeake since 1994. Our mission is to provide safe housing and support services for single men and women. We honor the individual dignity of all those we serve. We advocate and work toward the empowerment of our clients in all areas of their lives.
