Our hospice services mission is to improve care for those facing life-limiting illness through direct support of patients and their families, public education, and public advocacy.
Our vision is to become a center of excellence in end-of-life care and services to those facing loss. This vision is built upon our expertise in hospice and palliative care, as well as strong community support and leadership.

Description:
We assist people during life transitions and traumatic events, especially in dying.
We provide assistance to all that need it, regardless of their ability to pay.
We believe that care of those with advanced illness can and should be improved locally, regionally, and nationwide.

History:
We started 35 years as Hospice of Northern Virginia. After incorporating Hospice of DC and Hospice of Prince George's County, we were named Capital Hospice and now Capital Caring.
