Michigan Blood seeks enthusiastic greeter!

Michigan Blood is searching for someone who is passionate, friendly and professional to welcome donors and other guests to the Michigan Blood Grand Rapids Center (located near the corner of Fuller and Leonard).

Greeter shifts we are currently seeking are as follows:
Monday-Thursday: 7:50am-12:00pm, 12:00-4:00pm, and 4:00-7:00pm
Fridays: 7:50am-12:00pm, 12:00-4:00pm
(We would expect the volunteer to come in on a regular basis on the day and time they commit to.)

This person would be equipped with the knowledge to answer questions, direct flow of people, and promote excellent customer service.

We would need this person to be able to easily converse with others and give directions. This volunteer would also need to be able to easily stand, sit, walk and use hand signals.

This person should have a general knowledge and understanding of conversational skills and giving instructions. Also should be able to handle large volumes of people and multitask.
